MY – Solas

We designed and developed a feature-rich website for My Solas, an online community that simplifies NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) support services. The platform connects participants and families with essential resources, including support workers, service providers, assistive technology, housing options, and expos—all in one secure place.

The goal was to build an intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly platform where individuals could easily navigate NDIS services without complexity. My Solas is completely free for participants and their families, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

For the frontend, we used HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to create a responsive and engaging user interface. On the backend, we implemented WordPress with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to allow easy content management and dynamic data handling.

Developing a comprehensive and accessible platform that consolidates various NDIS resources while ensuring smooth navigation and user engagement.

To overcome these challenges, we:

• Designed an Inclusive & User-Friendly Interface: Ensured accessibility and ease of use for participants and family members.
• Implemented Advanced Search & Filters: Enabled users to quickly find support workers, providers, housing, or assistive technology.
• Leveraged ACF for Dynamic Content Management: Allowed seamless updates of provider listings, community events, and assistive technology products.
• Optimized Performance & Responsiveness: Used SCSS and jQuery to enhance interactivity while maintaining smooth performance across devices.

These efforts resulted in a well-structured, scalable, and accessible platform that simplifies the NDIS experience for users.

The website was successfully launched, providing an all-in-one solution for navigating NDIS services. The platform’s intuitive design, real-time updates, and extensive resources were well received by the disability community. My Solas now serves as a trusted and secure online hub for participants and their families, making NDIS support more accessible than ever.
